All skill based??

I have read a few threads in the Darkfall forums claiming that the game is entierly skill based and tht weapons and armor dont even come into play, is this true??

Not at all. Well actually a lot at all. (Does that make seance?) Well of course armor will come into play. What they mean is that there is no overall level deciding on how strong you are. You have to become better at some skills. Armor will definitely matter because it is an object on you blocking blows or reducing them. If it was no armor than everyone would be running around naked. What a sight.

Yes it does make sense, kind of, and thx for clearing that up for me because the way some people were talking on the darkfall forums confused me a bit, lol.
